Community Involvement

Studco Gives Back

One of Studco’s core values is to care for the wellbeing of others. This is not a statement that we make without action. Studco® regularly supports local charities and communities. This compassionate spirit is also demonstrated by our employees, who have organised events, donated their time and money to support many worthy causes.

Below are just a few of the ways Studco and its employees are supporting our local community.

Bushfire Relief

In January 2020, the Studco team got together for a BBQ Fundraiser event for the bushfire affected families across Australia. In addition to Studco’s donation of $50K, the staff raised an additional $1380 by purchasing sausages, baked goods, raffle tickets, or simply donating money towards the cause.

It is heart-warming to see the support around the country and our company in these tough times.

Operation Drought Relief

Many farmers have been affected by the heartbreaking and ongoing drought conditions that have affected farms across Australia.

Operation Drought Relief is an initiative led by the Rapid Relief Team Ltd (RRT) Australia, sending semi-trailers of much needed hay to drought-stricken farms across the country.

R U OK? Day

Studco is proud to participate in R U OK? Day. It’s great to get together and discuss mental health amongst our team and to donate to this great charity who are doing so much to raise awareness around suicide prevention.

Please look out for your mates, trust the signs and ask the question.

Red Cross Donation: Black Saturday Bushfire Aid

After the 2009 Black Saturday Bushfires, Studco was committed to helping Victorians after the devastation of these fires. Studco donated $50,000 to the Red Cross to aid their recovery work and help rebuild the communities and lives of those that were affected.

The donations Red Cross received were used to support orphaned children, help
rebuild homes and community recovery initiatives.

Yale House

The Yale School of Architecture has partnered with NeighborWorks New Horizons and HTP Ventures LLC with the aim of producing affordable housing from a chosen student’s design. The programme is focused on designing and constructing low-cost homes in economically distressed neighbourhoods in New Haven, Connecticut.

Studco was committed to supporting this project by supplying the EzyJamb system, and it was a real privilege to contribute to this sustainable initiative.
